Benediction at Pentecost Service

On this Pentecost the Spirit of God is upon us
breathing a fresh breath of life
so that
we go and challenge the knees of prejudice pressed upon Black Asian Ethnic Minority People,
we go and bow a knee in solidarity with George Floyd and many others like him,

we go...
bold in our dreaming
open in our becoming,
fearless in our living,
generous in our giving,
tireless in our serving,
committed in our loving,
finding a new self in our being.

The Spirit of God journey with us in our struggle for racial and ethnic justice
and strengthen us in our striving for transformed communities. Amen
